Thomas Brown and Mary Terry : Who is this Mystery Woman?

 Repeatedly, I have seen this couple linked as the parents of Esther Brown Terry who married John Terry and died in Perry Co., Indiana.  The problem is there is seldom a date, and when one is offered, there is not a place.   

Thomas Brown is a very common name as is Mary Terry. Before connections can be made that suggest a relationship more has to be known.

Confusing to it all is the DNA return that suggests my line connects from John and Esther Terry to William and Rachel Terry and to Thomas Brown and Mary Hadden Brown.
