Alice Cantwell Day born Dec.10, 1835
md Jesse Day who died in the Civil War. They married when Alice was about 20. She was left with three children and never learned where her husband was buried.
She was survived by a sister Mrs. Catherine Cantwell Wolf of Edison.

Hugh B. Day of Rogersville (who had lately been a Trustee of Hawkins Co., Tn)
Funeral at Flat Gap Baptist Church where she had been a member since 1877.
