HUDSON AND RAY FAMILY

Place: Probably Butler Co., Mo 

Description: L-R: Jesse Freeman "Red" Conner, eldest child of Effie from first marriage, possible sister to Effie? possibly named Carter?; Jess Hudson, Effie Ray Hudson; Julius H. Ray wife Florence, his mother Harriet Rowe Ray.  Children in front: Keith Eugene Hudson, cousin Jesse Marvin Hudson, and possibly cousin Curtis Hudson (infant).

Notes: They family of Jess Hudson, made several trips to see family in Butler Co., Mo. Jess's mother lived there as did Effie's mother and some siblings. Nearby was Jess' brother Louis Eugene Hudson. Family of Effie Ray lived in Scott County and some of Jesse's mothers family had or did live in Mississippi Co., Mo. All are close to Cairo, Alexander Co., IL where the Hudson family had lived (there and Puluski Co.,IL).

Effie was a strawberry blonde and Julius was said to have red hair. This came from the family of their mother who had a brother who was red haired.
